"The sky is falling, the sky is falling" Somewhere in one's childhood, we may have read or heard the story of Chicken Little who one day had an acorn hit her on the head. In her mind, she thought the sky was falling.
What must have it been like for Chicken Little to believe the sky was falling? She must have been filled with fear. Yet, she still had the courage to want to warn others. No one will know how the story would have turned out if the fox did not kill the messenger. Perhaps she would have faced ridicule for her panic and laughed at for something that did not happen.
Who are we to believe about preparing for survival of the pending economic and/or natural disasters? The News Media do not say much of the possibe collapse . One thing for sure can make a believer out of a person and that is to read how people suffered the aftermath of a natural disaster. New York City, three weeks after Hurricane Sandy, in some parts, are still without power.
Survival is defined as: "The act of surviving;living beyond any event." It is not some TV Reality show where the winner is paid money for surviving. The reality of a natural disaster if unprepared, places you and your family at the mercy of the government to supply you with the minumal survival items. If people are willing to fight over an item that their child wants for Christmas. Take a moment to picture what it will be like when there is no food or water or anything else needed for daily living.
Survival begins with many steps that can be over whelming. If you start with a survival food list, you can at least begin a process that will not leave you to wonder how you will find food.
Maybe for now you will laugh at Chicken Little yelling "The sky is falling"
Who are you to believe? It is a question you can only ask after you start your own search for answers beyond the newspaper.
So here is some food for thought, if now you made a survival food list
How can Survival food that has a 25 year shelf life be wasted money? Having Survival food can make the difference if you live or die. Then again,
Who are we to believe?
