Years ago I worked with a fellow who worked part time at this company. He worked part time because he really was a farmer full time. During the break ,we sat around the table talking with the other co-workers. He seemed upset and when I asked him what was wrong. He stated that with lack of rain his crops were failing and he did not have the resources to add irrigation pipes to his land. Now he was faced with having to sell his family farm for he financially could not hold onto it any longer. Silence fell upon us, as we all sat there. There was not much to say.
